Nobody knows your own body like you do. Nobody. Be your own advocate. Trust yourself. And also find providers who you can trust, who understand the complexity of your condition(s), and who listen to your LIVED experience, no matter how long that has been. There is never a reason for a provider to be condescending or dismissive to you. You’re the only one who lives in your body.

My latest blog post. Chinese medicine can help improve quality of life and outcomes before, during and after a cancer diagnosis. One thing to be aware of during breast cancer awareness month is that cancer does not equal being bald, not everyone chooses to do chemo, not everyone is recommended to do chemo and if they are, not everyone loses their hair. Sending strength and peace to anyone affected by cancer.
