Inner Fire - Proactive Healing Community

Inner Fire - Proactive Healing Community A proactive, healing community offering a choice for people to recover from traumatic life challenge.

We seek deep and lasting healing through an intensive program that first stabilizes a person in crisis, gradually replaces medication with holistic healing practices, addresses the core issues precipitating pain, and then develops skills for growing beyond these issues and becoming an enthusiastic and vital member of their community. We are not anti-medication, but rather believe in the choice to

find inner balance and healing without the challenging side effects of psychotropic medications. With the help of a psychiatrist and our comprehensive program which calls upon the engagement of the whole human being, we assist people who long to carefully taper to a satisfactory level, who want to avoid medications all together, or who need support while dealing with the withdrawal symptoms having discontinued their benzodiazepines or other medications.

With fall, comes leaves!

As the trees shed, our Seekers and Guides are busy gathering the fallen leaves. We aren't clearing the leaves simply for aesthetic reasons - leaves make excellent compost for our biodynamic garden.

Vermont has rich history of cairns - or rock sculptures - from Indigenous People. Oftentimes, these cairns can still be discovered throughout the area.

While our cairns are not quite as old, the biodynamic garden is adorned with these unique rock sculptures created by both Seeker and Guide.
