We are a health care team: I am public health professional with five years of care giving experience. My partner is a trained medical alert dog with a proven ability to alert to life threatening situations who provides companionship and attention to you and your medical condition. Together we will make sure you are happy and healthy and reaching your personal health goals. You are needing someone to come into your home or meet you for a walk to help you recover from or cope with a medical condition. Clients have included: A patient who flies in for appointments and needs transportation to see doctors, a patient who has surgery and requires post surgery care, a mentally ill patient who needs emotional support and help monitoring their medication uptake, a person with a heart condition who needs help shopping and someone to cook for them, a diabetic patient who needs close attention to the timing of insulin intake and better food choices, a person who needs a salt-free diet, an elderly patient who needs home visits, a person recovering from a fall, a person with brain damage who needs in-home care, and someone with a heart condition who needed CPR.
