Thank you Champaign County Department of Job and Family Services for your support and generosity!

During the month of August, our Champaign County Department of Job and Family Services Child Support Team hosted a department challenge to raise awareness of domestic violence and support survivors.

Thanks to the generosity of our staff, we collected 1,071 items to donate to the Sotera House, a 24-hour domestic violence and sexual assault shelter serving Champaign County residents through TCN Behavioral Health.

The Sotera House provides survivors with safe shelter, food, clothing, personal items, crisis intervention, legal advocacy, counseling, and connections to vital resources.

In September, our team will deliver the donations and join a meet-and-greet with Sotera House and New Directions staff.

We are proud to support survivors and help make a difference in our community! 💚
