Below is a brief recap of yesterday’s HOA meeting:
Financial Report
1. The financial position of the association was reviewed. It is in a suitable position for 2020 and 2021. It is anticipated a dues increase would be implemented in 2022.
2. The balance of unpaid dues and legal fees is approximately $9,500, which the HOA continues to aggressively pursue via legal means.
Updates and Discussion of HOA Business
1. For 2021, the HOA Board will be looking to utilize landscaping funds to aerate and seed a limited portion of common area. Thereafter, a rotation of all common area would become a normal part of the landscaping maintenance.
2. The cul-de-sacs on Edna Jane Lane and Conrey Trail in addition to a section of Mary Ann Court had breakaway posts installed in 2019 to deter off-roading. The posts have proved to be successful. The Township will observe for the Winter of 2020 to, hopefully, make a final confirmation that the cul-de-sacs will not be paved.
3. In 2020 the HOA Board researched and installed more reliable lighting fixtures at the State Rd entrances.
4. In 2020, the walking trail area connecting Lamborn Hunt and Stone Croft was beautified and dead trees were removed.
5. Remediation of downed trees and trees in basins are expected to be completed before the end of the calendar year.
Election of Board Member
Alexandre Novikov was added to serve a 3-year term on the HOA Board.
