Our Story

Namaste, I am Lauren and welcome to YOGA with Lauren! My yoga journey started over 15 years ago when I was a beginner student looking for relief from lower back and hip pain caused from many years of playing competitive soccer. Not only did yoga provide me with the relief I was looking for physically, I also began to notice the more subtle benefits of a regular yoga practice. I was more relaxed, had more mental clarity, was gaining a better understanding of my own mind and body, and was finally building upper body strength! Since then, I have continued to seek out many different styles of yoga classes and workshops and eventually I decided to become a yoga teacher myself, so that I can share all this wonderful knowledge with you!

I completed my 200 hour YTT from Himalayan Yoga Bliss in Darjeeling, India high in the Himalayas. As one of the birth places of the yoga, I learned not only the principles of yoga asana (postures) but also the deep spiritual and philosophical beliefs behind this ancient practice. I am trained and have experience in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga.

Since completing my training I have had the opportunity to share this practice with students from around the world and here in the U.S. I believe yoga is for every BODY, no matter your age, race, religion, sexual orientation, or physical ability. There is something in yoga for you!

I offer small group, large group, corporate and one-on-one yoga sessions.
