📢 We will be closed for the day on Wednesday, February 5th so our staff can head to Topeka to stand up for our pharmacy and our patients! We’ll tell lawmakers to make sure people can get their medicine, stop pharmacies from closing, and fix unfair PBM rules.
💊 What’s Happening?
Big companies called PBMs decide how we get medicine to you. They make it hard for small
pharmacies to stay open by paying us less than what we pay for the medicine. They also take
back money with tricky rules.
If nothing changes this year, closures like ours could last forever. Pharmacies that stay open
can’t safely take care of all the extra prescriptions from other pharmacies closing. Mail-order services also take too long or don’t keep medicine safe, which could hurt patients.

Many insurance companies change processing information Jan. 1st! Please be prepared to present your new cards, if we ask to see them, something has changed!! This is especially important for Medicare Part D patients, but many other insurance companies have made changes as well!

Due to winter weather, the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Family Medicine Clinic, Outpatient Services, and Wound Care Clinic will be closed until 12:00 PM on January 6. Please stay safe and remember the PVCH Emergency Department is open 24/7 for emergent needs.
