Boaters, please be aware of swimmers and kayakers in the river this morning. A cadre of support vessels will be accompanying the swimmers, as will local marine authorities.

More than half a million dollars was raised for the BuildCMH Expansion Project at this spring's Diamond Derby fundraiser.

Among the many live auction items was the Ladies Night Out with the Astoria Fire Department where recently retired CMH VP of Patient Care Services, Judy Geiger, was the highest bidder. Thank you to the Astoria Fire Department for a memorable experience!

CMH is hosting the Regatta Square Block Party again this year during the 2025 Astoria Regatta festival! Regatta Square keeps the fun going under the sun and will be held at the public parking lot on 12th Street, between Duane and Exchange Streets, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 9th.

This year's Swim Across the Columbia will be held before the official start of the Astoria Regatta, this Saturday, July 19th. Help support the swimmers and kayakers finishing the crossing at the Maritime Museum plaza from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday. Proceeds from the swim will benefit the BuildCMH Expansion Project.

CMH is pleased to announce that it will host the Regatta Square Block Party again this year during the 2025 Astoria Regatta festival. The block party will be held on Saturday, August 9.

Astoria resident Linda Moreland pledged a generous gift of $250,000 to the BuildCMH Expansion Project.

"(The project is) important to me personally as a resident of Astoria and to the wider community and southwest Washington," Moreland says. "I think improving health in the community is one of the most important reasons for giving."

CMH is thrilled to receive a state budget allocation of $6 million to help fund resiliency goals in its hospital expansion.

“We are deeply grateful to Rep. Cyrus Javadi, Sen. Suzanne Weber, Governor Tina Kotek, the Oregon Legislature, CFM Advocates, and everyone who supported this budget allocation for health care in Clatsop County,” says Erik Thorsen, CEO. “This investment will help us get closer to 100% funding for the project and ensure uninterrupted, lifesaving care in critical moments.”
