What am I “teaching” my children? The process to get to where you are wanting to go. Asking where do you want to go and what does it look like for you? The messy in-betweens, not liking the first try, starting over even when it’s hard and frustrating. When it does get hard… take a break and meditate. Like really meditate and take your time. It’s okay to move to something else for a while and go back to the thing you started newly and now it’s more familiar. Our brains are wired for pause, reflection. The pause is creating new connections within the soul. Then the guidance happens. Purely. Transitions are the most powerful teachers. Create space for those moments in a developing child’s mind. It’s their pace, not yours. Don’t force take it slower than slow.
