This year's fundraiser includes being able to slingshot water balloons at our staff! All funds raised will go towards activities for our residents!

Reminder, the pool is now closed for annual cleaning until Tuesday, September 2nd. We will post an update if we are able to reopen earlier.

Employee of the Month Spotlight!

Our August Employee of the Month is Jess Merten!

Jess came to Galeon in 2017 as a nursing assistant. She has since furthered her career in becoming a LPN and now a Registered Nurse. Its hard to believe she has been a registered nurse for a few months. Jess is doing an exceptional job in learning the leadership responsibilities. Even with the most challenging day you would never know anything is going on as Jess presents a calm demeanor and is always smiling. Anyone that knows Jess knows she can overcome just about any obstacle. We are so lucky to have you on our team Jess!

Interested in becoming a CNA before the start of School?

1 spot left for the CNA course here at Galeon.

Advantages for taking the course:

Build a strong foundation for becoming a caregiver in a fun, interactive, and informative class structure.

Clinicals are done on site working with the awesome residents who reside at Galeon.

You’ll gain familiarity with the campus and residents if you choose to fulfill work experience with us.

Must be 16 yrs old

Background check required for anyone who works with the elderly population. One-time fee of $50.00 which can be reimbursable.

Class is Free.

Will be done in 4 weeks. Only 3 days/week

1st week- class starts Tuesday, 8/5/25, Wed, Thurs, then following weeks will be M, T, W-8:00 am to 2:30 pm
