I answered a "want ad" in a piece of a newspaper found while getting my car worked in 1994. The ad read something like "Wanted, Temporary Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant.". I answered the ad, got the job and ended up working from "Dr. Mac" as I call him for 25 years. This employment grew into so many sweet relationships, friendships and love. ❤️. Tonight, Dr Mac took us out to Supper at Apollo Flame! He's walking without a cane and gaining renewed strength every day. So thankful for him and all of these beautiful people. 💕
(We almost lost Dr Mac last October right after Hurricane Helene. He had fallen, broken his hip and been without food or water for over a week)

Update....
I just spoke with Dr Mac and he is continuing to improve with each passing day. 😊. He enjoyed Christmas with family and feels lucky to be alive . ❣️. (Back story....He fell and broke his hip right after Hurricane Helene. We believe he was without food or water for 6-8 days.). Thank you for your prayers! 🙏

Hello all. I just wanted to let everyone know that,
Dr. Jim MacAlpine is still with us! ☺️🙏☺️. He is recuperating after hip replacement surgery. He had a fall and was without food or water for at least 7 days. He is now in good hands. I was able to meet up with former co-workers, Tammy, Haley and Rikki for a magical time of laughing, crying and reminiscing. ☺️. We are so very thankful for our long-standing, work peep friendship! ☺️ What a blessing! Please pray for our Dr. Mac as he continues to heal!🙏. Thank you!❤️

Dear friends....I just had to update you on the whereabouts of Dr Mac, Tammy and myself. Our office closed in September 2019. Dr Mac is thriving. 😊♥️😊. He volunteers for ABCCM every week. In the pictures below, he's helping his brother, Dr Bob MacAlpine create some garden beds. I met with Tammy for supper tonight. She's just amazing and has shrunk! 😊. Me? I've been working with a general dental office for 4 years. These people are some of my best friends. ♥️♥️♥️. If you know them...consider it a privilege. -Sandy
