Jimmy Carroll Burns (Allen), age 79 of Jack Fork, Oklahoma went on to his mansion in the sky on August 29, 2025 in Moore, Oklahoma at the Gospel of Life -Disciple and dwelling home ,surrounded by heavenly Angels and his wife of 55 years by his side. Jimmy was born on January 12, 1946 in Jack Fork to Aliene (Moberley) and Alfred Eugene Allen. He lived the Gospel of Life, a long time member of the Jack Fork Assembly of God Church, his life was a testament of the Lord. He enjoyed ranching, working and loved to cook. He would often gather his family and friends and go up on top of the mountain to have cook outs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; children, Teresa Mote and husband Pat of Yukon, OK, Randy Rose of Jack Fork, OK, Gilbert Rose of Hartshorne, OK, Ricky Rose and wife Dena of Choctaw, OK, Nicky Rose and wife Melody of Luther, OK; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters Linda Escoe and husband Eugene of Ti Valley, OK, Nellie Palmer and husband James of Asher, OK; nephew, Austin Allen; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in passing by his son, Jack Rose; parents, Gene Allen and Aliene Allen; brothers, Andy Allen, Alvin Allen and Aaron (Red) Allen; nephews, Jeff Escoe and Allen Escoe.

Pallbearers are Pat Mote, Ricky Rose, Brandon Pierce, Russell Williams, Tim Carpenter, Greg Wood and Norman Burge.
Honorary Pallbearers are Floyd Vest, Jimmy Adams, and John Mahan

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM at Jack Fork Assembly of God Church

Services will be on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00 AM at Jack Fork Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ruth Deskin-Vest officiating. Interment will follow at Ti Valley Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.

Anderson Davis James, age 66, born on September 6, 1958 in Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on August 14, 2025 at his home. Anderson enjoyed working on cars, riding his 4-wheeler, and mowing. Anderson was a member of the Church of God in Christ. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Anderson is preceded in death by Temple Lee James, Clarence James, and Clarence James Jr.

Anderson is survived by his siblings; Helen Beal of Ada, OK, Donald James of Ada, OK, Gwendolyn James of Tulsa, OK, and Abarm James of Ada, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.

Dyanna Fae Wilson, age 76 of Nashoba, Oklahoma passed away from this life on August 23,2025 at her home with her family by her side. Dyanna was born on July 2, 1949 in Fort Cobb, OK to Violet Arlene (Allison) and Ray Ollie McPherson. After high school, she married the love of her life, Thomas Wilson on July 24, 1978 in McAlester, Oklahoma and this union started their life journey together. Dyanna worked at the school as head Nutritionist for decades, feeding the kids at school and visiting with many of them. They were very special to her. Over the years, building her family, she enjoyed gardening, canning, raising various critters her children brought home, and decorating the church. She was a member of the Christ Church in Nashoba. She also had a hobby of tending to her chickens. She built a large family that will miss her dearly.

Dyanna is survived by her husband Thomas of the home; children, Brett Hamman and wife Terri of Hackett, AR, Bryce Hamman and wife Loralee of Poteau, OK, Amy Wilson Knori and husband David of Nashoba, OK, Tonya Wilson Bowman and husband Robby of Antlers, OK, and Greta Wilson Potter and husband Rob of Auburndale, FL; grandchildren, Johna Hamman, Adam Potter and wife Megan, Brittany Johnson and husband Eric, Laura Dawn Leak and husband Brandon, Curtis Hamman and wife Alexis, Brextan Hamman and wife Melissa, Kaylee Smith and husband Evan, and Emily Bowman; great grandchildren, Kason Zientek, Kalliegh Johnson, Campbell Leak, Asher Hamman, Hagan Potter, Dawson Potter, Conner and Michael McNally, Bronwyn Kneisley with three new additions coming soon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Dyanna is preceded in passing by her parents, Ray and Violet McPherson; grandparents, Bud and Opal Allison and Dewey and Maggie McPherson; sisters, Sandra Ferguson, and Karen Cargill; brother, Billy McPherson.

Pallbearers will be Brextan Hamman, Benny Butler, Ashley Butler, Evan Smith, Rodney Butler, Tracy Cargill, Brandon Leak, and Eric Johnson
Honorary Pallbearers are Curtis Hamman, Miles Beasley, Sherman Southard, Adam Potter, and Chad Becker.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.

Services will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 2:00PM at Christ Church in Nashoba, Oklahoma with Bro. Arthur Carnes and Jerry Wamsley officiating. Interment will follow at Nolia Cemetery in Nashoba. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.

Odus "Dee" Edward Scarberry age 80 of Nashoba, Oklahoma passed away from this life on August 21, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dee was born on January 12, 1945 in Nashoba, Oklahoma to Pearl (McCray) and John A. Scarberry. After high school, he worked in the log woods with his family most all his life. He enjoyed ranching and messing with his cows. He loved his family and spent all free time he had with all of them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dee is survived by his grandchildren, Kagney Scarberry and Wallace Kitchel; great grandchildren, Dallee Scarberry, Tryenn Scarberry, Kix Osborne, Tanner and Tucker Kitchel; brother, Vernon Scarberry and wife JoAnn; step-son, Randy Lancaster; best friend, Randall Erwin; close friends, Paul Rung, Jeff Gregg, and Gomer Scarberry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

Dee is preceded in death by his son, Darren Scarberry; siblings, Tony Scarberry, LaVon Smith, LaVern Madewell, Peggy Sisk, Willard Scarberry, Ellis Scarberry, and Odus Scarberry; parents, John A. and Pearl Scarberry.

Carolyn (Susie) Louise (Palmer) Cranford, age 79 of Whitesboro, Oklahoma passed away from this life on August 11, 2025 at her home. Carolyn was born on December 29, 1945 to Oniska (Webb) and Dalton Lee Palmer in Ardmore, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, Carolyn married the love of her life, John Cranford on April 10, 1964 in Oklahoma City. She faithfully attended church at the Whitesboro Assembly of God and enjoyed studying the bible. Listening to gospel music, especially Jimmy Swaggart and Les Feldick were some of her favorite past times.
Carolyn loved her family and will be deeply missed.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Jackie Sue Cranford Walters and husband Jamie of Roland, OK; son, John David Cranford Jr. of Muldrow, OK; four grandchildren, Carolyn Jean Cranford of Clayton, John David Cranford III of Whitesboro, Micah Pharez Cranford of Arkoma, and Hannah Grace Cranford of Muldrow; two great grandchildren, Kenza Craig and Kamila Craig; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, John Cranford; parents, Oniska and Dalton Palmer; son, Roy Lee Cranford; sister, Dalene Jaernagan; brother, Dwayne Palmer.

Carolyn Sue Sturgeon, age 82 of Yanush, Oklahoma passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 3rd, 2025. Carolyn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Willie Avo (Biggerstaff) and Travis Levi Barber on May 17th, 1943. After graduating from U.S. Grant High School in 1961, she earned a Nursing Degree at South Oklahoma City Junior College in January, 1978. She retired from the VA Center in Talihina, Oklahoma after many years of working as a Registered Nurse. Carolyn and Melvin Sturgeon were married on January 12th, 1990. He was the love of her life. She worked side by side with him on the ranch for over 30 years. Carolyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, puzzles, cross-stitching, and working at the ranch with Melvin. She spent many years working on family genealogy in great detail.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Melvin of the home; children, John Hampton, Angela Hampton, Cynthia Hampton-Whitnah; step-children, Troy Sturgeon, Tracy Sturgeon and wife Amy, Tony Sturgeon (deceased); grandchildren, Kaci Kai, Kerry Kai, Jessica Zatkin and husband Danny, Kaitlyn Hodges and husband Koby, Chet Brown-Whitnah and husband Mason, Shaley Whitnah, Cooper Whitnah; step grandchildren, Blake Sturgeon and wife Amanda, Kendall Sturgeon, Cody Sturgeon, Tyler Sturgeon, Nelson Sturgeon, Cordell Sturgeon and wife Cheyanne, Brittany Carroll, Dakota Carroll and wife Shila; great grandchildren, Kol Higdon, Gideon Higdon, Bentley Hodges, Audrey Hodges, Nathaniel Sturgeon, Carma Sturgeon, Briley Sturgeon, Archer Sturgeon, Liam Carroll, Heidi Carroll, and Kieran Carroll; as well as numerous extended family and friends who are dearly loved.

Michael Leslie Doyle age 82 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away from this life on July 23rd, 2025. Michael was born on May 3rd, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Helen Marie (Chapman) and Mickey Doyle. After graduating high school, Michael went on to achieve his Master's Degree in Microbiology. He served as a professor of Microbiology at Tahlequah for many years. In 1961, he married the love of his life, Linnia (Raby). He enjoyed reading and working with wood, but most of all he loved to tell a tall tale to his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. If he wasn't teasing you, then he just didn't like you. He was known for his stories and bantering. His family was his pride and joy and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his two sons, Colin Doyle and wife Sherry of Edmond, OK, and Sean Doyle and wife, Susan of Greenwood, AR; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Micheal is preceded in passing by his wife, Linnia; parents, Mickey and Helen Doyle; one brother, and one sister.

Truman Robert Rogers Jr. age 73 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away from this life on July 9, 2025 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Truman was born on October 18, 1951 in Salpulpa, Oklahoma to Mary (Brock) and Truman Robert Rogers Sr. After graduating high school. Truman went to work in Construction which he loved his occupation. He was a member of Tate Chapel in Yanush for many years and had a passion for the church. He married the love of his life, Nina (Woods) and they began their life journey together. Truman enjoyed fishing and working on the goat farm, but his passion was visiting with family and friends. He always had a smile and never met a stranger.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Truman is survived by his loving wife, Nina Rogers of the home; daughter, Beth James and husband Brad; one sister, Trula Ham; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Truman is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Truman Rogers; brother-in-law, Robert Ham.

Jeremiah Alan Ray Pierce, age 22 passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2025 at his home in Clayton, Oklahoma. Jeremiah (Miah) was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 17, 2002 to Mackenzie and Carrie Pierce. Miah unfortunately lived a short life but a happy one. He was an exceptional young man who acquired lots of friends who soon became known to him as family. Miah enjoyed the company of his friends and family but most of all, his fiance, Natali Welker. He loved playing video games and playing basketball. He was outgoing and easy to get along with. Miah will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Miah is survived by his fiance, Natali Welker of the home; parents, Mackenzie and Carrie Pierce of Clayton; brothers, Justus Pierce, Jordan Davis and Johnny Davis; grandparents, Jim and Connie Pierce, and Shirley Johnson; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Mia is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacob Johnson.

John Mack Bruce age 76 of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma passed away from this life on July 2, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Johnny Mack was born on August 21, 1948 in Klamath Falls, OR to Inez (Briggs) and Gilbert Bruce. After graduating from high school, Johnny Mack enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country. He worked as a lumberjack and was considered a true "Mountain Man." Johnny Mack enjoyed riding horses, fishing and hunting. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Johnny Mack is survived by his two sons, Mackenzie Bruce and Graham Bruce; grandchildren, Chase, Cody, Josh and Tara; brother, Lewis Bruce; sisters, Cora, Letha, Wanda, and Sue; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Johnny Mack is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen; brother, Willis.

Micheal James McCarn age 46 of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma passed away from this life on June 28, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Micheal was born on May 21, 1979 in Bowie, Texas to Ruby Carolene (White) and Richard Nixon McCarn. Micheal lived in Tuskahoma most of his life. He loved to fish, mechanic, and argue with anyone who would argue back, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. His family was his pride and joy and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Micheal is survived by his father, Richard McCarn; daughter, Tayla Rain McCarn; son, Chase Wayne McCarn; sister, Amanda Conley; niece, Ashleigh Boatright; great nephew, Darrenger Wages, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Micheal is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby "Carolene" Alexander.

Wilburn Don Guthrie of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Don was born on July 13, 1945 to General Stanley Guthrie and Velma Lavada (Easley) Guthrie on Mud Sand Route, Soper Oklahoma. Don graduated from Wright City High School in 1963. He attended Oklahoma State University where he graduated in the top of his class with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. During summers, he worked in engineering for the Weyerhaeuser Company in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Upon graduating from OSU, he took a professorship at Eastern Oklahoma State College and was instrumental in establishing a very successful program of study in Computer Electronics Engineering.
He has served as a chairman of various technology committees for the National Science Foundation in Washington, D.C. and worked as a consultant to General Electric for several years. While at Eastern Oklahoma State College, he started the company known as Syntec Systems, Inc. where he designed software systems for governmental entities with design emphasis in database management for human resources, accounting, banking and internet services. He was a pioneer in the development of the accounting programs for the State Department of Education for public schools in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He also developed programs for the Department of Labor to track migrant farm workers in the United States.
Don married JoAnn Harkey in Maui, Hawaii on April 16, 2002. They established several successful businesses and worked side by side until they retired. They loved nothing better than taking spur of the moment road trips.

Don leaves behind his wife, JoAnn (Norbury) Guthrie of the home; his children, Gary Don Guthrie and wife Chrissy of McAlester, OK, Ricky Lee Guthrie and wife Tracy of McAlester, Kelli Dawn King and husband Rodger of Owasso, OK, Scott LeMace Harkey and wife Stacey of McAlester; grandchildren, Hailey Guthrie, Gavin Guthrie, Trevor Kennedy and wife Kamra, Chase Kennedy and wife Ashtyn, Sydney King, Jada King, Brayden Hoffman and wife Paige, Ty Hoffman, Keaton Harkey and Tenley Harkey; great grandchildren, Raylee Mae, Huck, Livy Jo, Briella Rose Kennedy and Kaston Hoffman; two brothers, Adrian and Linda Guthrie of Valliant, OK, and Larry and Judy Guthrie of Garvin, OK; as well as numerous extended family and a host of friends.

Don is preceded in death by his father, General Stanley Guthrie; mother, Velma Guthrie; brothers, Wayne and Charles Guthrie; mother of his sons, Roberta Guthrie.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:00AM at New Talihina City Cemetery with Bro. Monty Thompson officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
