Crafting with seashells is more than just a fun summer activity - it’s a chance to reflect on the beauty in nature and in ourselves. This lovely poem captures the deeper meaning behind every shell we hold.
Seashells and the Shore
Upon the shore, where waves retreat,
Lie shells of life, both small and sweet.
Some smooth and perfect, pearly white,
Reflecting sun, a dazzling sight.
Others, chipped and weathered, gray,
Battered by winds and tides that sway.
Yet each one holds a story deep,
Of oceans vast, where secrets sleep.
Like these, our lives, a varied strand,
With joys and sorrows close at hand.
Some days, like shells, we feel so strong,
Resisting storms, where we belong.
Other times, we're bent and worn,
By trials faced, and battles sworn.
But even broken, flawed, and scarred,
Our essence remains, a treasure hard.
So learn from shells, upon the sand,
To cherish every grain of land.
Embrace the beauty, find the grace,
In every shell, in time and space.
For life's a journey, rough and grand,
And in its depths, we understand,
That even in the broken parts,
Resilience lives within our hearts.
