Some days I wake up highly motivated. I feel that I can take on the world.
On those mornings I get more accomplished before 8 am than I do in some entire weeks.
Well, not everyday is like this…
And I know I’m not alone.
Some days the action must take place before the motivation.
This might sound counter intuitive but believe me when I say that ACTION CREATES MOTIVATION.
If you are feeling like you lack motivation I encourage you to take action in the direction you want the day to go.
Create the momentum and then watch the magic unfold.
Now excuse me as I take action with a workout as I am in the process of creating my motivation for today…

We Fuel and train- 🥑 💪🏼 🍏 🚴🏻‍♀️ 🥦 🏋🏻‍♂️
After all the traveling I’ve done over the last 4 months I am so pumped to push “re-start” and get back with my training.
How I fuel my body, so that it can perform at its best, is a HUGE part of it.
I try to make good choices about what I eat at all times but I’ll admit that it can be extra challenging when I am traveling.
At home I have routines and know what to order and where to get my favorite healthy everyday meals.
When I travel, especially abroad, I want to try all the delicacies and some of them don’t align with how I eat at home.
My normal fuel is of the gluten free variation, with less processed foods and it is also mostly vegetarian. I’ll treat myself to sushi from time to time but for the most part I avoid all meat products.
I have been enjoying this time and believe that there is no room for guilt when I chose to stay from what is within my norm but just like I enjoy traveling but at some point I start to miss my own bed, I am now ready to resume my normal daily food intake.

Inspired by my running coach this am!!! Can you guess who?!? 😜
After returning from a fabulous weekend of dancing, connecting with friends and creating new friendships I feel energized and more confident.
I am confident in what I am today and in the knowledge that I have already grown so much, not only as a dancer, but also as a person.
I am inspired to continue this process. Continue to challenge myself and my beliefs to keep discovering more… more discipline, more strength, more grit…

I guess it’s a fine line between having no expectations and not caring, but I guess when we believe the universe will take care of things, we understand that no matter the outcome it will work out for the best. 😉
Trying to live in a space of appreciation frees us to be happy no matter what the outcome!
Releasing the need for “illusion of” control over the outcome leads to less expectation and therefore more happiness!
