In response to the devastating wildfires impacting Southern Georgia, Riverview is proud to serve as a drop-off location for donations to support our brave first responders.

We are working closely with local firefighters to ensure all donated items go directly to those on the front lines and those affected by these fires.

Happy Health Information Management (HIM) Professionals Week to our amazing Renee Young Moore!

As our Director of Medical Records, Renee, goes above and beyond every single day. Often the backbone of healthcare, bridging data with patient care, and managing critical information from several levels of care in order to assit pieces of the healthcare puzzle together and typically behind the scenes, but no matter the task or the department, she’s always willing to jump in and lend a helping hand to make sure everything runs smoothly. Her dedication, teamwork, and selfless spirit do not go unnoticed.

Renee, we truly appreciate all that you do for our team, our residents, and our community. You are such an important part of what makes us strong, and we are so grateful for you!

Mike Sweat brought ALL the vibes!

From singing his heart out to dancing with our residents, he had everyone smiling, laughing, and on their feet. The energy in the room was absolutely contagious, and the joy he brought to our community was something special to see.

Riverview’s Easter Egg Hunt was a HUGE success!  Over 3,000 Easter eggs were scattered and collected, making for an exciting hunt!!

We had an egg-stra special day filled with laughter, excitement, and sweet surprises including a special appearance from the Easter Bunny himself!

The day was made even more special with music by the Savannah's World-Famous Crabettes, bringing the energy and fun for everyone to enjoy!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event so amazing:
The Seed Church for sponsoring our Golden Egg prizes Saint John Academy for the candy-filled eggs,And our very own Ms. Emma for her delicious homemade brownies, Compassus for volunteering to help residents hunt eggs!

Our children and residents had an absolute blast racing around, collecting as many eggs as they could! Smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition filled the air!

Moments like these are what it’s all about bringing joy, community, and love to our Riverview family!

This event is about so much more than eggs and candy. It’s about bringing generations together, creating joyful moments, and giving our residents the opportunity to be part of something special happening right here in their community.

For many of our residents, events like this bring back cherished memories of holidays spent with family and little ones. It gives them a sense of purpose, connection, and the joy of being involved not just watching from the sidelines, but truly participating.

We invite families, friends, and community members to join us for a day filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments. Together, we’re building connections, creating memories, and making Riverview a place where community truly comes alive.

Today marked a truly incredible milestone in the 65 years of Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center! The Official Grand Opening of our in-house 6 chair dialysis clinic!

This beautiful renovation is more than just a new space, it represents a commitment to elevating care and improving quality of life for our patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Partnering with DaVita Dialysis, we are proud to be the first and only skilled nursing facility in Savannah area, offering this life changing service right inside our community.

The impact this will have on our residents is truly incredible!
Our conventent in-house dialysis area will provide comfort and a peace of mind for residents and their families.
No more stressful transportation or long hours away from home. Just compassionate, seamless care right down the hall!

This is just one of the many reasons Riverview continues to stand apart from other skilled nursing facilities.

In-house dialysis services are available no matter if you are there for short term rehab needs or long term care assistance. When time to discharge back home after your short term therapy stay, you can easily transition back to your community dialysis center of choice as they conveniently hold your chair time while with us!
