Welcome to the Team, Bliss! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Bliss to Alaska Hand Rehabilitation!

An Alabama native, Bliss earned her bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of South Alabama before moving to Alaska in 2010. She began her career in behavioral health and later earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University.

Specializing in upper extremity evaluation and treatment, Bliss combines exceptional skill with heartfelt compassion to help patients regain function and confidence.

Outside of work, she enjoys mountain hikes, fishing, and playing softball with her daughter.

👋 Welcome to the Team, Maggie! 💪

We’re excited to introduce Maggie, our new Therapy Technician here at AHR!

Born and raised in Anchorage, Maggie holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Alaska and brings valuable experience from the world of children’s behavioral health—especially working with teens and young adults.

New to the field of Occupational Therapy, Maggie joined us in 2025 to build experience and deepen their knowledge as they prepare to apply for OT school. They’re especially passionate about the connection between physical rehabilitation and mental well-being—a perspective that brings depth and heart to their care.

When they’re not at work, you might find Maggie reading, skiing, hiking, doing embroidery, or baking sweet treats for family, friends, and coworkers. 📚⛷️🧵🍪
