How to cut: start by creating a horseshoe part on the top of the head. Then work with diagonal back sections, the first two sections are on base but the sections after that should be over directed to the previous sections. Your diagonal back sections should overlap in the back. Once the sides are done then split the top down the middle and use horizontal sections in order to connect the length of the sides to the top.

Tips when cutting: utilize proper tension and work with thin sections to prevent any unwanted over direction. If you want to create a more lived in or textured look then use a feather razor as I did.

How to style: This is a very versatile haircut especially for curly to wavy hair texture. You can style it using mousse, gel, pomade or your favorite curl cream.

My client gave me creative freedom and I wanted to deliver something that would push the needle but still remain practical. I kept the length of his fringe but in order to give him movement and separation. I added some texture with a feather razor and styled him with some Hair Dust.
