Congratulations, Dr. Mishra!

We’re thrilled to celebrate Dr. Mishra as she officially begins her new role as faculty in Kern Medical’s Infectious Disease team!

Dr. Mishra completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship right here at Kern Medical and has been an integral part of the Valley Fever Institute’s research team throughout her training. During her fellowship, she submitted multiple abstracts to national and international conferences and received an award at the 69th annual Coccidioidomycosis Study Group conference!

She was also recognized at Kern Medical with the Exceptional Mentor to Medical Students Award and the Outstanding Achievement in the Study of Infectious Disease honor.

Today marks her first day as faculty, and we wish her all the best as she continues her journey with us—now as a dedicated and compassionate physician leader.

We’re proud to have her on our team as we continue to advance the care and understanding of Valley Fever. Let’s give her a round of applause as she steps into this exciting new chapter!
