LISTEN UP. 🧠💥It’s April, which means the rest of the world is talking about "Autism Awareness." But at my practice, we don’t just want you to be aware that autism exists. We want you to understand the neurobiology of it and start building the proper scaffolding so our kids and adults can actually perform!
We’re talking about brain-based differences—not deficits. If you want to see a change in behavior, you have to look at the precursors: sleep, diet, gut health, and how that brain is wired to process stress.
Acceptance isn't just a "nice feeling." It’s an action step. It means:
1️⃣ Stop trying to fix the person and start fixing the environment.
2️⃣ Create realistic schedules and healthy boundaries.
3️⃣ Hold yourself accountable for learning how their brain actually works!
I’ve seen it a thousand times—when we stop being reactive and start being proactive with the right clinical support, these individuals don't just "get by." They CRUSH it.
🚀Let’s stop the talk and start the work. Who’s with me?
