We have had quite a few questions regarding this weekend's event. As of right now we have a rough estimate of how many picture discs we are getting. There is still one version of the picture disc that has not been allocated to anyone. Our distributors don't even have it yet. With any luck we'll know more tomorrow. Regardless, we will not be announcing how many copies we have available untill the event.
As for how we will be conducting the sale of the picture discs. We will be conducting a raffle. You may show up any time before the listening event, but we will not be passing out raffle tickets till the start of the event. As we always do, we will be pulling names for the raffle after the first full play through of the album. This IS a presale. If your name is drawn, you must pay for the album at the listening event before you leave. The album will not be delivered till the release date, September 12th. You must be present to win. If your name is drawn and you are not present at the time of the drawing, you will be bypassed and a replacement name will be drawn.
As for the giveaways. We have more than enough posters and wristbands available. There's no purchase necessary to receive either of these items. You just need to show up.
We have been allotted 15 velvet outter sleeves. These will not be available until the albums arrive on the street date. These will be 1st come 1st served on the date of purchase. These are the gift with purchase for the Indie Exclusive Smoke Blue or the standard red vinyl. These will not be distributed with the picture discs.
This is the fairest way we can come up to give everyone a chance to get something special from the listening event. We look forward to seeing all of you at the shop. Let's all get together and have fun and listen to some great music.
