We are well into Safe + Sound Week, a nationally recognized event all about recognizing the steps organizations take to keep workers healthy and safe. This year’s theme, "emergency preparedness and response" reminds us that readiness can save lives, whether at work or at home.

Even though the week wraps up soon, it’s not too late to take part! You can still:
✅ Host a safety talk or toolbox meeting
✅ Review and update your emergency plans
✅ Recognize your team’s safety efforts
✅ Share safety resources with employees or your community

And remember, these conversations don’t stop after this week ends. You can host events, refresh safety programs, and spotlight safety wins any time of the year!

Our Members-Only Ice Cream Social was the perfect way to beat the summer heat and celebrate the amazing CRSC community we’re lucky to call family. While we were too busy enjoying the fun to snap many photos, we did capture the star of the show... the ice cream bar! (it was just as delicious as it looks.)

Today was all about connection, appreciation, and a little summer indulgence. Thank you to all our members who stopped by to share a scoop and some conversation, you make every event worth it!

In our recent Confined Space Entry & Rescue course, one of our students took the hands-on learning to the next level, by entering their own confined space made out of cardboard! (& yes, it was labeled, and ventilated)

We might be joking in the video, but the skills practiced were the real deal:
✅ Proper PPE
✅ Air monitoring
✅ Communication protocols
✅ Entry & exit procedures

It’s one thing to read about it in a manual... it’s another thing entirely to crawl inside and feel the importance of every step. Practical Training keeps things memorable, and most importantly, keeps workers safe.

We can both learn by doing & laugh while learning!
