West Kentucky Healthcare Coalition West KY Healthcare Coalition (WKYHCC) is a coop of partnerships to enhance disaster preparedness.

Our West Kentucky Healthcare Coalition (WKYHCC) is a cooperative of partnerships to enhance disaster preparedness, response, and recovery of the West region's healthcare and emergency response systems. West KY HCC covers twenty-four (24) counties in Western Kentucky. The Coalition encompasses the geographical regions of the Purchase, Pennyrile, and Green River counties. Member organizations, our Partners, include but are not limited to Medical Centers/Hospitals, Emergency Medical Services, Long Term Care Facilities, First Responder Agencies, Federal State, Local Governmental Agencies. These stakeholders assemble to plan, train, and exercise plus develop, and implement and coordinate response to incidents of terrorism, mass casualty events, pandemics, and other public health emergencies.

Freezing rain will likely produce ice accumulations of a quarter to half inch across southern portions of the Pennyrile region to Murray Kentucky, with lesser amounts just north and northwest of these areas. Much of southeast Missouri, extreme southern Illinois and the rest of west Kentucky is likely to see 1 to 2 inches of sleet.
