I just heard news of Father Chris passing and wanted to share. Many of our members might remember how faithful he was to our group. For many years, Father Chris would attend our yearly Walk to Remember. He even personally wrote a special prayer from the “view of the baby from Heaven” that we lost and would share it yearly. It was so special and so very comforting to many parents. He will be so missed. RIP Father Chris😢

This hits home more than ever this year. Peace and love my friends💕

For those of us who are grieving, this is a very difficult time of the year. Everyone is busy preparing for the Christmas season and things can become a little hectic and overwhelming. Slow down and find your own pace, only doing what feels right for you. We are missing our departed loved ones and the most important thing right now, is to take care of ourselves and maybe find some nice ways to remember our loved ones during the festive season.

Unfortunately I have some bad news concerning our annual Walk to Remember. For around 35 years we have held this tradition ( only transitioned to virtual walks during Covid). We are sorry to have to cancel it this year due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be sure to post in the future on future Walks . Please help me spread the word. So many of our parents are used to it being held the first Saturday annually in the zoo. Thank you for your continued support.

To preface this post… many of you may know by now that we lost our precious daughter (mom) sister, neice, friend suddenly on July 26, 2034. She was 43. She collapsed suddenly and we were unable to revive her. We are grieving hard, but our Lord has shown us many blessings in our grief and we are leaning on him
And the blessings to get us through this journey.

These past two weeks, Doug, John, Maddie, Braden, Donna and I have truly realized this. Out of the depths of our grief, many friends (and Amanda’s) have shown up time and time again. We are on a different path since July 26th, but in our grief we are seeing the blessings God is giving us daily. We have heard many stories of the impact Amanda had on lives and We have realized how very loved we and Amanda are. Our sincere thanks for reaching out. All of of your love, texts, prayers, food, cards, hugs and presence are so appreciated. ❤️
