Taylor Whitt, DNP, is a proud Iowa native and Nurse Practitioner here at Urology Center of Iowa. He began his healthcare journey as a registered nurse in the ICU and emergency department and went on to earn his Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020.

When he’s not caring for patients, Taylor enjoys time with his family, cheering on Hawkeye football and wrestling and Kentucky basketball, getting outdoors, and smoking up some great BBQ.

Urology Center of Iowa

Urology Center of Iowa is a full service urology clinic founded in 2019 by a group of experienced urologists to provide compassionate, cutting-edge care to patients in Des Moines and beyond.

Our focus isn’t just on treating your problem. It’s developing strong relationships with the community. It’s providing exceptional, personalized care. It’s providing education so you can feel involved and make the best decision for you.

Our urologists will be familiar to the community. Dr. Kevin Birusingh, Dr. Brian Gallagher, Dr. Richard Glowacki, Dr. Mark Kellerman, Dr. McCabe Kenny, Dr. Stephanie Pothoven, Dr. Ryan Schulte, and Dr. Trevor Wild all look forward to seeing our established patients back and continue your care. We also look forward to meeting new patients and establishing a great relationship.

You can currently see us at Broadlawns Medical Center as well as at Mercy East Village in Des Moines. We also provide services at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond and Clarion. We look forward to opening our new main office in Clive in early 2020.
