Residents and staff were all smiles as we “weathered” the storm together—singing and dancing to Gene Kelly’s Singin’ in the Rain. Laughter filled the air, and even our imaginary raindrops couldn’t dampen the joy! ☔🎶

🌤️ Balloons to Heaven Day at The Auberge 🎈

Today, our community came together to honor Balloons to Heaven Day—a special time to reflect on the loved ones who have passed on. During our afternoon gathering, residents shared touching memories of their children, grandchildren, parents, and dear friends.

We ended the afternoon by releasing a single balloon into the sky, sending our collective love heavenward. As it floated away, we all clapped—because, as one resident said, “That’s exactly what they would have wanted.”

It was a beautiful reminder that love never leaves us—it simply changes form. 💙

🌼 Stop and Smell the Fun! 🌼

Thanks to a beautiful flower donation, our community was bursting with joy—and blossoms! Residents put their creativity to work arranging vibrant centerpieces and sweet bouquets for their neighbors and loved ones.

It was a budding opportunity to connect, create, and share joy—the perfect example of our SPARK Program in action: purposeful, engaging activities that make life bloom-tiful! 🌷✨

Happy Pioneer Day from The Auberge at Aspen Park! 🐴⛺️🥧
Did you know Pioneer Day celebrates the arrival of the first group of Mormon pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley on July 24, 1847? It’s one of Utah’s most beloved state holidays—full of history, heritage, and community spirit!

Our SPARK program brought that spirit to life with a Pie & (Root) Beer Party that had everyone smiling! Residents helped prep for the big day by:
🎨 Making handmade decorations
📚 Sharing their own family pioneer stories
🎼 Singing along to live music
🥧 Enjoying homemade apple pie and frosty root beer

We love how our residents bring their creativity, wisdom, and laughter into every celebration. Here’s to the trailblazers of the past—and the vibrant community we’re building together today! 💛

🦈 Shark Week Shenanigans at The Auberge at Aspen Park! 🌊

To celebrate Shark Week, we dove right into the fun! 🏊‍♀️ This morning, we were swimming like sharks—fins up and smiles all around! Later, we chomped into the afternoon with our friends from Cornerstone Caregiving -SLC North, UT 🦷, joining forces for shark trivia, a jaw-some dance party, and sweet treats that were fin-tastic! 🍭🕺

🦈 The whale shark is the largest fish in the sea—and it’s a gentle giant!
