The 21st Annual Health Walk is tomorrow- rain or shine! Join us in this free celebration of culture & wellness! Open to everyone so make sure to let your friends and family know to sign up too. Visit vendor booths with community resources, enter to win raffle baskets, and listen to a blessing and drumming to signify the start of the walk. Light snacks and water provided. The Community Garden and Elders Program invite you to come and walk in tradition and honor the changing seasons, the gifts of the land, and the strength of our community.

Join us for a day of celebration rooted in ancestral wisdom—where stories are shared, drums echo, and the harvest is honored with open hearts.

There will be indigenous artisans and crafts, community blessings, cultural drumming, games, and food.

The 21st Annual Cowlitz Indian Tribe Health Walk is September 20th, 9 am – 12 pm at Lake Sacajawea in Longview. This free community event is open to everyone—come walk with us as we celebrate health, wellness, and community spirit! Bring the whole family for a day of fresh air, connection, and movement.

HHS Indian Child Welfare and Child Care and Development Programs are coming together to offer 8-weeks of Positive Indian Parenting Classes. Open to all Native American families and families who have a Native parent or Native children. Space is limited. Please do not sign up if you cannot make all class sessions.
Each session will include dinner and any supplies needed for class. Child care will be provided.
