Swisslog Healthcare recently hosted the Broomfield Career Explorers, a group of high school students (8th to 11th graders) examining their career interests and pursuing connections with local employers through the City and County of Broomfield Workforce Center program.

We hope that the Career Explorers had a valuable experience touring our Technology Center which houses the manufacturing and distribution of our pneumatic tube systems, as well as the lab where our designers and engineers work to innovate future concepts, and at their final stop at our Automation Academy for demos of our automation, software, and analytics solutions for hospitals, health systems, and long-term care facilities.

The Swisslog Healthcare Hiking Adventure Club enjoyed a beautiful day last weekend hiking Herman Gulch Trail in Dillon, Colorado https://bit.ly/3O9HdhW.

"Great weather, great camaraderie, great time had by all" - Jeff Cochran, club leader. Jeff was joined by Bianca Rossi, Hans Schuler, Mike Carmody (his two boys) and SLHC interns Ryan McKown and Blake Whitelaw. New hikers and adventurers are welcome to join hikes at anytime!

As Swisslog Healthcare recognizes African Americans throughout U.S. history, today we celebrate Amanda Gray Hillier. In 1905, Ms. Hillier was the first Black woman to own a pharmacy in Washington D.C and became an influential leader for Black women pharmacists.

Thankful for the healthcare contributions of many African Americans, today we recognize Dr. Charles Drew who revolutionized the blood banking process and standardized procedures for long-term blood preservation which led to the establishment of the American Red Cross National Blood Donor Service.

On December 30th, over 1,000 residential structures and dozens of commercial structures in Boulder County, Colorado were destroyed by the Marshall Fire. To support those who have been impacted in the community close to Swisslog Healthcare's headquarters, and in which many of our own employees live, Swisslog Healthcare has donated to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund at ColoradoGives.org.
