Native American Heritage Day – November 29

Today, we honor Native American Heritage Day, a time to celebrate the history, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. Observed the day after Thanksgiving, it reminds us that gratitude must include acknowledgment — of the land, its original stewards, and their ongoing resilience.

We uplift Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ Native voices, whose stories of identity and strength continue to inspire and guide generations. Indigenous communities still face barriers to equitable healthcare and resources, especially around mental health and HIV care — challenges Radiant Health Centers is committed to addressing through compassionate, inclusive care for all.

We proudly acknowledge that our clinic operates on the ancestral lands of the Acjachemen (Juaneño) people, and we honor their continued presence in Orange County.

Let today be a day of remembrance, respect, and action toward health equity and inclusion.

Radiant Health Centers will host its World AIDS Day Policy Forum on Monday, December 1, at the Norma Herzog Community Center in Costa Mesa. The event also marks the launch of Radiant’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, honoring four decades of community-centered care and advocacy.

Here is the bio for one of our distinguished panelists, Tulika Singh, MD.

A nationally recognized expert in HIV and infectious disease medicine, Dr. Singh brings over 15 years of clinical and research leadership to Radiant. She previously served in leadership roles at academic and nonprofit healthcare institutions and continues to mentor the next generation of infectious disease professionals through her faculty role at UCI Health.

Dr. Singh co-authors national HIV Primary Care Guidelines and provides virtual infectious disease care to underserved regions across California. Her clinical expertise and advocacy for equitable access make her a powerful force in Radiant’s next chapter of healthcare innovation.

“Every person deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based care—no matter who they are or where they live,” said Dr. Singh. “I’m proud to be part of a movement that uplifts entire communities through medicine, education, and advocacy.”

This Thanksgiving, we celebrate gratitude, connection, and chosen family — the loved ones who stand beside us, support us, and remind us that belonging is something we create together. For many in the LGBTQ+ community, chosen family is a source of unconditional love and strength.

We’re deeply thankful for our patients, volunteers, donors, and community partners who make our work possible every day. Together, we’re building a healthier, more compassionate Orange County for all.

Please note that our offices are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen on Monday, December 1.

If you experience a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room.

From all of us at Radiant Health Centers — thank you for being part of our family. 🦃

Take Control of Your Health—Get Tested!

HIV & AIDS remain a serious threat to sexually active individuals. While progress has been made, gay and bisexual men account for nearly 70% of new HIV diagnoses in the U.S.

Regular testing is key to early detection, prevention, and empowerment. Knowing one's status protects oneself and one's community.

Radiant Health Centers offers confidential HIV testing, primary care, and behavioral health services. We're here to support your health journey every step of the way.
Take control and get tested today!

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – November 25
Today, we unite to end gender-based violence in all its forms. Established by the United Nations in 1999, this day honors the Mirabal sisters, activists whose 1960 assassination in the Dominican Republic inspired a global movement for women’s rights.

Violence against women and girls affects 1 in 3 worldwide, and for LGBTQ+ women, transgender women, and women living with HIV, the risks are even greater. Many face violence not only from partners but also from family rejection, discrimination, and hate crimes.

At Radiant Health Centers, we provide a safe, affirming space for all survivors. Through behavioral health counseling, case management, and community support, we help women and LGBTQ+ individuals heal and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Together, we can create a world rooted in respect, safety, and equality. 💜
