What you practice becomes your baseline. What are you teaching your body right now?
__________________________________________________________
First, we restore motion.
Then, we relieve pressure.

That’s where most people think it stops…
but that’s just the beginning.

Once movement is back,
your muscles start to respond differently.
They support you better.
They hold you with less effort.

Over time, your body starts to recognize this as the new normal.

Not because the muscles “got stronger”…
but because your brain updated the pattern.

Your nervous system is always learning.
Always adapting.
Always saving what it repeats.

Chiropractic isn’t just changing your body in the moment—
it’s helping your brain remember a better way to move.

What you practice becomes your baseline. What are you teaching your body right now?

If you’re in your “getting my life together for my kdis” era …

this is your sign.

Keep your momentum going.

Keep working on yourself.

Start working on your body so you'll still be taking muscley showers later
(see the picture of how my son told my wife to draw me)

Don't "do it later." Or else that dinosaur will get you.

That includes getting aligned with chiropractic.

Get on the schedule this week before it fills up.

I'm super pleased with the images created this morning!

Never before was it so accessible to turn ideas into actual designs so readily.

Thank you Utility workers!

Same heat.
Same pressure.
Different purpose.

Behind the scenes, there are people who keep everything running—
long hours, tough environments, constant demand.

You carry the pressure that keeps our communities warm, lit, and moving forward.

But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough…

That pressure builds in you, too.

And just like the systems you maintain—
release, reset, and recovery matter.

Not just for performance…
but for you, your health, and your life outside the work.

We appreciate what you do.
Make sure you take care of yourself the same way you take care of everything else.

You’ve earned it.

Reminder to drink water!

And if you're dehydrated, apologize to those around you for crankiness

❄️ Old Man Winter Came Back… and So Did the Stiffness ❄️

You know that feeling when the cold snaps back and suddenly everything feels tighter? Maybe your bones creak like your house does.

Winter doesn’t create the problem.
It just reveals what’s been building over time.

Think of joint capsule stiffness and bursitis on a scale:

Level 1:
A little tight.
You notice it when you get up or start moving.

Level 5:
You’re stretching it constantly.
Sleeping on that side doesn’t feel great.

Level 10:
Years of built-up stiffness.
Now the shoulder, hip, or knee just doesn’t move the way it used to.

The good news?
Stiffness isn’t permanent when you start restoring movement.

Adjustments, soft tissue work, and dry needling can help bring motion back where it’s been stuck.

Don’t let Old Man Winter win.

Actual breakfast we had 8 eggs per adult and adapted banana bread. We use a variation of this bread recipe often. Pictured is 2x recipe.
1 cup (100 g) old-fashioned rolled oats
227 g bananas
½ cup milk
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup (57 g) butter melted
1/6 cup (35 g) maple syrup- we don’t typically add any sweetener
¾ cup (107 g) flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup (70 g) dried cranberries or raisins (optional)

Blend in a blender, cook in muffin pan or bread pan at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown on top

Strengthen the knees with walking backwards for 10 minutes.

On the ground, or on a treadmill off, and simply go backwards. Flat, inclined, before or after your workout, whatever gets you started.

By the way, we are open today and have openings this evening.
