Alzheimer’s Disease is the most common form of dementia, affecting memory, thinking, and behavior. It is a progressive condition, meaning symptoms gradually worsen over time, and it impacts not only those diagnosed but also their families and caregivers.

Raising awareness helps break stigma, encourages early diagnosis, and supports ongoing research toward better treatments and, one day, a cure. Learn more, share information, and support families affected by Alzheimer’s. Together, we can make a difference.

In our busy lives, it’s easy to get caught up in stress, distractions, and endless to-do lists. Practicing mindfulness helps us pause, breathe, and focus on the present moment.

Benefits of mindfulness include:
• Reduced stress and anxiety
• Improved sleep and relaxation
• Greater focus and productivity
• Better emotional balance and resilience

How to practice mindfulness daily:
• Take a few deep breaths before starting a task
• Spend a few minutes noticing the sights, sounds, and sensations around you
• Practice gratitude by writing down one thing you appreciate each day
• Try guided meditation or mindful walking

Remember, mindfulness isn’t about “emptying your mind”. It is about being present, aware, and kind to yourself in each moment.

Engaging in regular physical activity is one of the most effective ways to support both physical and mental health. Research shows that incorporating movement into your daily routine can:
🔹 Improve cardiovascular health and strengthen muscles and bones
🔹 Help maintain a healthy weight
🔹 Reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and certain cancers
🔹 Enhance mood, reduce stress, and support mental well-being
🔹 Promote better sleep and increased energy levels

Physical activity doesn’t always mean structured exercise. It can include walking, cycling, gardening, or even household tasks. The key is consistency and finding activities you enjoy. Investing time in movement is investing in your long-term overall health.
