As the 2025 Legislative Session in Tallahassee gets closer to the finish line, FAOE Executive Director Fraser Cobbe and staff member Joe Daraskevich discuss the remaining priorities for physicians in the state and what has to happen for those bills to become law. Fraser starts the episode by breaking down a shift in leadership in the Democratic Party, now that Jason Pizzo has switched to No Party Affiliation. That's just the latest headline in a Session that's featured plenty of drama within parties and across the aisle.

The likelihood of a Special Session gets stronger and stronger each day as budget discussions continue. It appears legislators are struggling to agree on top line items, meaning there's a long way to go before all the spending is approved.
