Outbound Physical Therapy & Rehab was originally established as a unique therapy company in response to the growing need for patients to receive therapy services in their environment of choice and on their own schedule. It is our goal to provide quality, effective rehabilitation and wellness services to patients in the privacy and comfort of their home or other chosen environment. These services are right for patients who have been receiving traditional home health therapy and no longer wish to be home-bound or who rely on others for transportation. Now Outbound is proud to announce the expansion of our services with a clinic location! Conveniently located near the intersection of Hwy 50 and Eastland Dr. in Jefferson City, our patients now have all the advantages a physical location has to offer! We remain committed to providing an abundance of care to each patient, sensitive the individual's needs in regard to cost, scheduling, and specialty services. Outbound is locally-owned and committed to the Jefferson City community and surrounding areas. We look forward to hearing from you and serving the Jefferson City area!

⏰ Spring Forward, Stay Strong! 🌷
Daylight Saving Time is here—don’t forget to move your clocks one hour ahead! While we gain more daylight, losing an hour of sleep can affect your body more than you think.
💤 Why sleep matters:
Quality sleep is essential for muscle recovery, injury prevention, balance, and overall physical performance. Poor sleep has been linked to increased pain sensitivity, slower healing, and a higher risk of injury—especially for active adults.
🌙 Healthy sleep tips to help you adjust:
✔️ Go to bed 15–30 minutes earlier a few days before the time change
✔️ Keep a consistent sleep and wake schedule (yes, even on weekends!)
✔️ Limit screens and bright lights at least 1 hour before bed
✔️ Stretch gently or practice deep breathing to relax your muscles
✔️ Avoid caffeine late in the day
Your body does its best healing while you sleep—support your movement, recovery, and performance by making rest a priority! 💙

Winter wonderlands are beautiful… but icy sidewalks? Not so much! Walking on slippery surfaces or shoveling snow can lead to serious injuries. Let’s keep you moving safely this season! 💙💚
Top Tips to Stay Safe:
🚶‍♂️ Take small steps: Walk like a penguin—feet slightly apart, slow, and steady.
🧤 Use the right gear: Wear shoes with good traction and consider traction cleats.
💪 Warm up first: Stretch your legs, hips, and back before shoveling.
❄️ Shovel smart: Push snow instead of lifting, and take frequent breaks.
📱 Be mindful: Avoid distractions while walking—focus on your footing.
💡 Bonus: Keep your home entrances clear of ice and use salt or sand for extra grip!
