My favorite volunteer activity is with the Silver Santas Committee of BLS of Pinellas County that I have been with since the beginning, 8 years ago.
At the holidays, all the work we do culminates with getting gifts to the assisted living residents of Pinellas Co. that have low income and/or little or no family visitation. This is me presenting gifts to a resident of Lake House ALF in Largo. We gave 1700 bags this year.
Thank you to all the volunteers (over 100) who made this a good holiday for 1700 seniors.

A HOLY WEEK

On a Sunday triumphant

They gave us the word

Every year in the springtime

The story is heard

Preparing for trial

When those that He led

To a day with just sorrow

To fear and to grieve
