For those of you in Ray's sphere, you may have noticed his decreasing energy over the last several months and more recently, his complete absence in general.
I wanted to share his health journey with you all, so you can know what's going on and how you might be able to help both near and far.
In short, he had brain surgery on May 1 and it's been determined that he has a stage 4 glioblastoma.
We are in the midst of doing all of his pre-treatment appointments and will begin chemo & radiation the first week of June.
He is doing amazing and by the look of him, you'd never know he just had a very large tumor removed. However, he is very easily overwhelmed by stimuli, especially sounds. If you reach out by text, he may or may not get back to you.
The easiest way to keep up with what's going on is to sign up for CaringBridge.
It is free and you don't have to send any money. the request to keep his page going is well beyond 6 months at this point and goes directly to caring bridge, not us.
Please stay in the loop here:
