We are proud to announce the publication of the next Pager Publications, Inc. print book, The Perfect Doctor, curated by Dr. Sasha Yakhkind and featuring 40 narratives written by patients, physicians and trainees about the imperfect pursuit of an ideal.

Intervene Upstream, the online peer-reviewed public health publication for graduate students

Intervene Upstream is the online peer-reviewed public health publication for graduate students at interveneupstream.org.

The publication primarily publishes personal narrative essays, opinion pieces, journalism, and popular science pieces written by graduate students interested in public health. Submissions from undergraduates, professionals, academics, and community members welcome if the piece is relevant to graduate students interested in public health.

The editorial board, consisting entirely of graduate students, will accept submissions related to public health topics (i.e. harm reduction, social determinants, health disparity, international health), graduate studies (i.e.reflections on studies, student advocacy, pedagogy), and professional development (i.e. career planning, advice from professionals).
