STATE FAIR FLAIR WITH HEALTHCARE: We had a busy day at The Great New York State Fair. Thanks to the generosity of the late Stephen M. Blau, MD, ’68, and his wife, Patricia, 11 Norton College of Medicine students will receive the Stephen M. Blau ’68 Memorial Scholarship—covering full tuition, fees, and more for the 2025–26 year.

Unlike traditional scholarships, this one delivers immediate, full support, removing financial barriers and accelerating the path to becoming physicians.

🎡 Did you know? Upstate Medical runs the Infirmary at The Great New York State Fair providing quick, expert care just steps away from the midway. Last year, nearly 60% of patients were able to return to enjoying the fair after treatment.
