It’s been a little quiet here, but behind the scenes, I’ve been deep in prep mode — getting everything ready for summer art + yoga magic 🌈✨
🧘‍♀️ Summer Slow Flow starts in July — a gentle, joyful yoga series for kids who need a reset. Think movement, breath, and the kind of peace that sticks with them.
🎨 I’m also putting the finishing touches on 3 art camps the Hermitage Museum and Gardens! These sessions blend movement and creativity in the most joyful ways.

Today, we pause to shine a light on mental health, and what better way to do it than through the power of yoga? Yoga isn't just about physical health; it's a beautiful practice for nurturing our mental well-being too. 💆‍♀️💛

Introducing the "Butterfly Breath" for kids - a simple yet magical posture that helps little ones find calm and focus amidst the whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. 🦋🧘‍♂️

🦋 How to practice the Butterfly Breath:
Have your child sit down comfortably on a yoga mat or a soft surface. Invite them to bring the soles of their feet together, forming a butterfly shape with their legs. Encourage a tall spine and relaxed shoulders. Take slow, deep breaths in and out, just like a butterfly's gentle fluttering wings.

🌬️ With each breath, remind your child that they have the power to let go of worries and stress, just as a butterfly releases from its cocoon to explore the world with grace and beauty. 🦋✨Then they are free to make what’s butterfly shape they feel.

🍂🎃 Ready to add a touch of fall fun to your kids' yoga routine? We've got just the game for you! 🍁🧘‍♀️

Introducing the "Pumpkin Balancing Twist" - a playful and imaginative yoga game that not only brings the magic of autumn indoors but also promotes balance, concentration, and creativity in your little ones! 🎃🍂

🍁 Here's how to play:

1️⃣ Have your child sit criss-cross on a yoga mat or a soft surface.

2️⃣ Set the scene by telling them they're in a pumpkin patch, and there's a special, imaginary pumpkin waiting to be picked.

3️⃣ Encourage them to reach out, pretend to pick up a pumpkin (you can use a soft prop or just imagine it), and place it on their head.

4️⃣ As they balance the pumpkin on their head, guide them through gentle twisting motions from side to side. 🔄

5️⃣ Encourage them to use their breath to stay calm and balanced, just like a yogi!

🍂 Not only is the "Pumpkin Balancing Twist" tons of fun, but it also offers some amazing health benefits for your child:
