Yancey County Friends-Mark your calendars and come out for support, supplies, and community!

Over a dozen organizations will be on site with helpful info and resources for anyone affected by disaster. All are welcome, and Spanish interpreters will be available.

🎈Join us at one of four Disaster Recovery Resource Fairs in Yancey County on August 7, 21, 28, and September 11!

✅ FREE meals from local food trucks
✅ FREE school supplies
✅ FREE disaster kits (flashlights, batteries, radios, etc.)
✅ FREE food boxes to take home

There will be more than a dozen organizations to provide information and services related to disaster recovery. All are welcome and interpreters will be available to assist Spanish-speakers.

Our hearts are with Texas.

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has opened the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support relief and rebuilding efforts after the flood of July 4, 2025. The Community Foundation - a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the Texas Hill Country - will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible.
