Every summer, our school age program has the privilege to learn about other countries from UNI foreign students. Our latest visitor was from Bangladesh. Children were able to get henna tattoos, learn how to write their names, and try a traditional tea. We are so blessed to have such amazing visitors. Thank you UNI for your continued support.

We love to collaborate with local partners, like our friends at Cedar Valley Preschool and Child Care Center. Each month this year, one of their school-agers will be reviewing an alphabet book for us, and we will share the review here for you to enjoy! We will also have the original reviews on display in our Victorian House classroom for you to check out!

We would like to give a HUGE thank you to Matt Wiertzema and the John Deere volunteers for all of their hard work. Every year an amazing group of people volunteer their time to come help out with work on our playground. This year was a big job, but as you know, many hands make light work. Our playground now has amazing new sod, and our dumpster enclosure has a fabulous working gate. We truly appreciate their dedication to our center.

Fellow sports fans, we have just added a new item to our silent auction from A.J. Green and family. A.J. Is a Cedar Falls High School & UNI Panther alum. He is the only one from Cedar Falls to be make it to the NBA. #20 for the Milwaukee Bucks! A.J. Has donated a signed basketball for our Raise the Roof fundraiser! We are so very grateful and hope to spread the word with your help about this item. We are so close to reaching our goal! We are excited to be donating a sign to Cedar Valley Preschool and Child Care Center's Raise the Roof campaign! They will be having a silent auction on April 24th from 5-7. A starting price will be set and people can bid until the end of the night. Whoever wins can choose a design that they would like on their sign. Pictures are for ideas.
