How We Began!

In-Home Care began with a mother who needed care. John, this mother’s son, helped his mother until it became too hard to do so himself while maintaining full time employment. He then learnt he could be compensated from Medicaid as a caregiver supporting his mother. Not soon after, he then realized how he could use his experience to help provide care for more elderly and disabled in the Millinocket area. This was the beginning of In-Home Care. Since then, In-Home Care has kept its roots close to the heart which drives us to provide communication and care that are considered exceptional compared to our competitors. We are not a franchise, we have grown this business over 25 years and the current owner, who is a Disabled Combat Veteran who also has a disabled sister, will ensure our quality of care continues onward into the future.
