Residents at TSVH – Ben Atchley had a wonderful time tapping their toes and clapping along as the Mount LeConte Jug Band brought their lively bluegrass and old-time tunes to the home!

A few of our residents even tried their hand at playing the harmonica, joining in on the fun and making the performance even more special. Moments like these fill the room with smiles, laughter, and great memories.

We are so grateful to the talented members of the Mount LeConte Jug Band for sharing their time and music with our Veterans and helping create such a joyful afternoon.

TSVH Cleveland Resident of the Month: Mr. James Catlett

Mr. James Catlett joined the TSVH Cleveland family on April 12, 2025. A quiet and kind gentleman, Mr. Catlett was born and raised right here in Cleveland, Tennessee.

At just 19 years old, he answered the call to serve and joined the U.S. Army, spending a year and a half serving in Vietnam. After returning home, he married the love of his life, Beverly, at age 21. This year they celebrate an incredible 56 years of marriage. Together they have built a beautiful family with four children—two boys and two girls—along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he absolutely adores.

Mr. Catlett spent many years working at Sears in the Northgate Mall appliance department, where he proudly served customers until his retirement in 2007.

In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar and fishing, and he once enjoyed crafting handmade leather belts. When it comes to food, his favorites are Mexican cuisine and a classic meatloaf with mashed potatoes. And if you know Mr. Catlett, you know he’s a huge Tennessee Vols fan!

Mr. Catlett truly makes TSVH Cleveland a “sweeter” place, and we are honored to celebrate him as our Resident of the Month.
