Had another great Stand Down for homeless veterans at the Rocky Hill, CT VA facility.
Over 1000 veterans attended to receive benefits, medical exams, food, clothing, haircuts, eye glasses and more.

We are interested in speaking with organizations in the US that use, or intend to use, smartphones to reach patients with diabetes. We seek to pilot the use of smartphones and Vaso-Wraps to remotely treat ischemic diabetic ulcers.
Veteran patients who use the VA are of utmost interest because the VA will provide Vaso-Wraps free of charge to eligible veterans if they are determined to be medically necessary.
Remote self treatment is the goal.

Just had a veteran from the 2015 Stand Down in Rocky Hill, CT call to say that the Vaso-Wraps® he got from the VA caused brown discoloration on his legs, diabetic dermopathy??, to disappear down to his ankles OVERNIGHT!!!
He was very happy and thanked me.

Due to PSV - Prolonged Safe Vasodilatation - Vaso-Wraps are expected to improve the delivery of insulin and oral antibiotics to the lower extremities. That would be a good research study for
patients in rural areas using telehealth!
