Just us for a virtual presentation, "Aging Well With Autism," Wednesday, July 16th, 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

The Lurie Center for Autism invites you to join Susanna Mierau, MD, DPhil, for a presentation and discussion on meeting the needs of adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as they age. The presentation will focus on the preparation necessary to transition from adult to geriatric care. Geriatrics provides an important framework for identifying and managing the complex needs of older individuals, known as the “5 M’s of Geriatrics.” We will discuss the needs of older adults with ASD using this framework as well as the current gaps in care in our communities.
