I take supplements—because I need them for real deficiencies. And they’ve helped me tremendously.
But let’s not pretend they’re always harmless.
Just like pharmaceuticals, supplements are often overprescribed or over-marketed for profit—with lifestyle changes left out of the conversation entirely.
No one asks about your sleep. Your nervous system. Your blood sugar. Your breath.

Savannah Maher is a certified intrinsic wellness coach for women and men with chronic pain and weight loss struggles who want to live their best life despite their circumstances. She holds a strong point of view that everything happens for you, not to you. “At the end of the day, it is happening. It is up to us to choose how we handle it. Coaching is like going to the gym for the mind and intrinsic motivation is a tool that accesses the heart. When we balance these two in a session, clients will experience change,” Savannah says.
