Raymond Paul Beavers, 82, of Salem Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was the widower of Doris Barber who passed away on April 19, 2025, the couple celebrated 62 years of marriage together.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp.

2nd Lt. Carol Marie Lazzeri, BSN, 95, of Jefferson Twp. passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was the widow of Joseph Lazzeri, who passed away on November 19, 2014 and the couple was married for 54 years.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 2 at 9:30 am from Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am in the St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church Street in Moscow by Rev. Thomas M. Muldowney, pastor. Interment with Rite of Committal and military honors will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp.

Viewing will be held on Friday, from 8:30 am until 9:30 am, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Children's Advocacy Center of NEPA, 1710 Mulberry Street Scranton, PA 18510.

Keith Tucker, 71, of Roaring Brook Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. His spouse of 38 years, Donna Tucker, passed away on February 15, 2023.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service, also at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Hollisterville, 23 Pond Road, Moscow, PA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 2:00 pm until the time of the service, also at the church.

Gregory M. Werner, 71, of Clifton Twp., passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart inpatient unit in Dunmore. Married to the former Dawn Miller, the couple celebrated their 38th anniversary this year.

George "Billy" Davis a resident of St Mary's Villa Nursing Home for the past 2 years, formerly of Cortez, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the villa. His wife of 55 years, the former Joyce Frisbie, died on August 5, 2017.

Lisa Berardelli Stevens, age 57, of Clarks Summit, PA, passed away on December 1, 2025. Born on August 27, 1968, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of James Berardelli and the late Shirley (Geroulo) Berardelli.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at LCBC Clarks Summit, 607 N Abington Road. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm, with a service beginning at 1:00pm. Light refreshments will follow. Casual attire is encouraged, as Lisa would want friends and family to gather comfortably and warmly in her honor. No further events are planned afterward.

Gail M. (Schultz) Lewis, 91, of Covington Twp. passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Scranton. She was the widow of William B. Lewis, who passed away on July 18, 2013 and the couple was married for 56 years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 12:00 Noon at the Daleville United Methodist Church, 423 Dorantown Road in Covington Twp.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service, also at the church.
