Lillian D. (Hollister) Jopling, 85, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Married on June 24, 1962 to the late Wilfred R. Jopling, the couple was married for 52 years when he passed away on August 4, 2014.

Lillian's family will honor her life and legacy privately.

Pamela A. Quinn, 67, of Big Bass Lake, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at home. She was the widow of Thomas Quinn, who passed away on February 1, 2026 and the couple was married for 43 years.

The visitation will be held on Monday, March 23 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. Interment will be held on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Covington Twp. Family and friends attending the interment are kindly requested to proceed directly to the cemetery Tuesday morning.

Lawrence “Larry” Goble, 81, of the Sterling area, passed away on Saturday, March 14, leaving
behind a family and friends who loved him deeply. He was the son of the late Lewis and Flora
Mae Goble.

John R. Fox, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 16, 2026 with his loving family by his side.

Robert Harry Cron, 90, of Newfoundland, passed away while surrounded by the love of his family, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. He was reunited in heaven with his wife of 64 years, the former Meryl Alberta (Reining), who passed away on December 28, 2023.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at 1:30 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. Interment with military honors will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service, also at the funeral home.

Ethel “Pidge” Rebar, 92, of Covington Twp. passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at home after a long illness. She was the widow of Joseph A. Rebar, who passed away on October 21, 2009 and the couple was married for 43 years.

The funeral will be held on Monday, March 16 at 9:30 am from Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church Street in Moscow by Rev. Thomas M. Muldowney, pastor. Interment with Rite of Committal will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Covington Twp.

Viewing will be held on Monday, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, also at the funeral home.

Thomas J. Kern, Sr., 91, of Roaring Brook Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. He was married to the love of his life, the former Rose Ann Thornton, for over 67 years.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 11:00 am in St. Eulalia’s Parish, 214 Blue Shutters Road in Roaring Brook Twp. Interment with Rite of Committal and military honors will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Covington Twp.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass, also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 30 E.D. Preate Drive, Suite 108, Moosic, PA 18507.

Pauline M. Snyder, age 87, of Gouldsboro PA, passed away on March 3, 2026 at her home in Big Bass Lake.

Memorial and burial services will be held privately at the request of Pauline.

Joan Pelesh Lengel, 82, of Roaring Brook Twp. passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Allied Services Hospice in Scranton. She was the widow of John Lengel, who passed away on July 28, 1996.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 6 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00 am in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 600 E. Lackawanna Ave. in Olyphant. Interment will follow in St. Tikhon’s Monastery Cemetery in South Canaan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.

Phillip Stout, 93, of Sterling Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at home. Married for over 70 years to Amber Beers, The Beers-Stout union made Ripley's Believe it or Not in 1955.

The viewing will be held on Friday, February 27 from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Light of Christ Church, 2071 Moosic Lake Road in Mount Cobb with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment with military honors will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp.

Richard Hugo Wolf, 90, of Jefferson Twp. passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home in Elmhurst Twp.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17 at 1:00 pm at the chapel of Fairview Memorial Park, 111 State Route 435 in Elmhurst Twp. followed by military honors and interment. Family and friends are kindly requested to meet at the chapel for the service.
