Some 'Behind the Scenes at Sojourn TRC"!
Our Barn Manager, Whitney, and volunteer, Katie are introducing Holly to the lift.
Nina, an expert at standing while a person is mounting via lift, showed Holly how the process works. Holly then observed the lesson, including the dismount.
This training will take months, and Holly will definitely let us know whether this is something she would like to do. We are keeping our fingers crossed!
We know that our well-trained horses are worth their weight in gold. Their training consumes time, educated trainers and cost.

Horses are enjoying a beautiful week. The weather has been delightful and no stalls are occupied because no horses in their right mind would want to be inside!
Hoping this weather, in general, lasts a few more weeks🤞🏻
