Hi Friends, I want to take a moment to share some thoughts with you as we reflect on the recent storm and all that came with it. First, I want to express my deep gratitude to all of you who supported me during this time, especially those who reached out from afar, offering words of comfort and love. Your kindness made a world of difference to me.
I especially want to thank those who hosted me and encouraged me to stay with them, for their kindness, love, and support. those of you who convinced me that it would be safer to stay with you than to get on the road, even though I felt very torn at the time. I am truly grateful that you were right.
As I sit here surrounded by nature, I can’t help but think about the strength of the trees and the land that faced the storm. Some stood strong, others fell, but each played a role in softening the impact of the winds as the storm moved through. It’s a reminder of the resilience that exists within nature and within us, and I feel deep gratitude for those who bore the brunt of the storm’s energy, making it easier for those of us further along the path.
One thing this experience has brought to mind is how unpredictable these storms can be. We never really know which coast or which place will be chosen to face the worst of it. And it's not just hurricanes—life can be that way too. Sometimes, one area, one person, or one community has to absorb the impact of a challenge, and in doing so, they ease the burden for others. It’s as if we’re all connected, each playing our part in ways we may never fully understand.
I also want to take a moment to honor those who may not have made it through—whether they are people, animals, or the trees that once stood tall. My heart goes out to those souls that are in transition now. I believe that sending them our love, our gratitude, and our prayers can offer them some comfort, wherever they may be on their journey.
And while prayer and sending love are powerful, I also know that sometimes what’s needed is direct support—boots on the ground. If you find that your cup is full enough to give more, consider reaching out in whatever way you can, whether that’s offering physical help, financial support, or simply a listening ear. Each act of kindness, no matter how small, can contribute to creating a different kind of force—a hurricane of love and support, as strong as the storm itself.
So, if you feel moved to, I invite you to join me in sending a little extra love and gratitude out into the world today—to the people, to the places, to the trees and the animals that faced this storm. And if you can do more, know that your efforts are part of something much bigger. Together, we can uplift those who are still in need, and help each other heal.
Thank you again for being here, for supporting me, and for holding space for each other as we move forward. Let’s continue to uplift one another, and remember the strength and connection that we share.
I sit in gratitude!
