World Prematurity Day is observed on November 17th each year to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide. Approximately 15 million babies are born preterm each year, accounting for about one in 10 of all babies born worldwide.

A huge thank you to Torf Funeral Service in Chelsea for organizing a pajama drive for CERS clients. They collected over 110 brand new pajamas in a wide variety of sizes and styles, including many for toddlers and older children. Thank you for helping keep our clients' children nice and toasty during these bitterly cold nights. We are so grateful!

Many thanks to Circle of Hope, Inc. for their recent donations for clients in the JF&CS Center for Early Relationship Support. Donations included toiletries, warm winter coats, hats and gloves, hand sanitizers and masks. These donations will help keep our clients safe and warm this fall!

A big thank you to Beantown Baby Diaper Bank for providing us with two thousand diapers, which will be distributed to teen parents in our Healthy Families Program. While more families than ever struggle to afford diapers, Beantown Baby’s donation will help our participants’ babies stay comfortable and healthy.
