I love going back to visit and finding Grace's star in the tower. I had a picture of it made onto a coffee mug. :D I love Give Kids the World. In our plan for Haven of Grace, we are modeling several aspects after our experience of being there. It saved our family. Even though it was supposed to be for Grace, I have no doubt that trip and staying at GKTW saved my son's life. We were so close to losing him forever. Then this magical place was where he finally told us about all the things that were happening to him. He was finally able to let us share his heavy burdens. By the end of this trip, his soul was so much lighter. He was smiling again, and able to find joy in things around him. I want that for every family who is struggling. ~ Patti

We are in need of several musicians who are willing to give up an afternoon and evening on a Saturday in May for an amazing, fun charity fundraiser for Haven of Grace during National Children's Mental Health month. I also need a trailer to use as a stage, and possibly a venue such as a large field or parking lot. I am working on the details, but before I get too far down the road, I need to see if I have enough connections to make this work. Who's in?

Welcome to our page. Follow us for updates on the Haven of Grace project, the development of Noah's Playground, calls for volunteerism, and more. This project's mission is to save lives, restore hope, and build community. Be a part of the transformation of our country's approach to people and families in crisis. Be a voice, give us your time and strength, share your knowledge and resources, and provide kindness to people in need of immediate help. This chapter is beginning, and we want you to help us write it.

The Haven of Grace is a joint project of the Grace C Mae Advocate Center and Wish On A STAR. It is a project intended to culminate the delivery of sustainable, skilled services to people in crisis and in need of meaningful, intense interventions in order to make a full recovery after such a crisis. This project will forever change how we serve families in crisis, and it will change lives of people here in Iowa, the United States, and around the world.
