After working in the fitness industry for several years, I began to see trends between the people who reached their goals and the ones who didn't. I noticed these principles transcended in all facets of my clients lives and embarked on a quest to find a way to help people live to their highest potential by addressing the physical, mental and emotional aspects of wellness through coaching, workshops, and training. I am deeply passionate about helping people remove the barriers to their intrinsic inspiration to better show up in their lives whether that be in health and fitness, romance, professionally, and/or personally. My mission is to help 1 billion people live from self-love and inspired purpose through health and wellness to create a global ripple of loving compassion and happiness.

Hello hello, sweet 33 🎂🐦‍🔥🔥🌊

What a delight to be able to welcome this next lap around the sun with a mix of new friends, nature, novelty and expression.

Although I just came to Madeira, I had it in my heart that I wanted a fun cake photoshoot with new friends. Just as I was about to drop the idea, the things came into place for it to happen not once but twice.

The intention was pretty simple. Have some fun with candles and include people in it, so I brought a bunch of candles so karaoke to celebrate with folks.

Turns out, there were of us who shared the same birthday and we all got to revel, laugh and sing together becoming one big community from many countries. That paired with nature time with roomies and sharing food with new friends from all around the world made for a special weekend.

I am constantly reminded that magic and delight is available in small moments when I am willing to be present and open.

Let's see what is in store for this next year. I have no doubt, it will be one for the books 📚

It's been on my list to come to this forest for years now. As I drove up the mountain to get here, I felt a swell of emotion come.

About 10 minutes before arriving, it really hit me that I am headed to a place the deepest part of me has wanted to visit for YEARS. I stumbled on this spot on TT and it's taken me two trips to Portugal to be able to visit.

I cried as I realized I traveled across the world and am getting to experience a place that moves me. It's almost like my heart and body were thanking me for listening to that quiet longing - a longing that would be quite easy to tuck away in a box.

I breathed in the air as I sat and let myself soak in the experience knowing I honored something deeper than I had words for. As the fog rolled in and out, the wind whipped through and the cows grazed on the hillside, something healed in me.

So often, I notice how choices either build up or tear down self trust. Making time to come here helped build up trust in myself to notice a call and see it through. As someone who often has more ideas than I could ever implement, it is so helpful to be able to see something through and close the loop, so to speak.

Today marks 2 months since arriving in Sao Miguel, Portugal. I feel fortunate to all the people that helped me get here, those who have welcomed me, the guides to continue to walk with me and those I've yet to meet.

These photos were from sunset yesterday. When I can, I try to watch the sunset and connect to the ocean. It's been a big process of unwinding and self exploration here. I'm curious to meet this next chapter of myself.

The day I made my first sale in my coaching and training business. I was a few years into my personal development journey and wanted to see how to combine it with exercise. I was also in my own journey with exercise.

Many people don't know that I first got my start in personal training as a temporary position before going back to school. I had my own struggles with exercise. At the time, I would sabotage my own efforts to care for my body. As soon as I would see progress, I would stop exercising and would use food to get back to my comfort zone.

I didn't realize I was afraid to actually love, tend and appreciate my body. I had a bachelor's in Kinesiology as a health and fitness specialist...and STILL had a hard time showing up for myself - I really got that education does not mean you have internal access to showing up.

Being a trainer, I got to work on my own journey along side by clients. The first couple of years felt so hard! At some point, I started to really get the groove and hone into my own philosophy and approach. An approach I've offered to many people over the last 10 years - one that has really given me access to sustainable wellness. An approach that combines life coaching, movement, nutrition, hormonal health and somatics tailored to each person's individual makeup.

Fast forward to today, I've really fallen in love with how the body carries the stories of our past. It carries the fears, burdens, dreams and love of our lives. Movement is an incredible access point to developing a strong relationship with yourself. The way we move and nourish ourselves is a great litmus of what's going on in our inner landscape.

I guess I share all this because the time has come to close the chapter of this particular business to make room for my next chapter. A chapter that really supports who I am being called to step into and share my tools in new and more aligned ways. I plan to continue coaching and consulting, however, it's time to complete on my 1:1 training time.

Blooming is a theme I've been exploring these last few months and these flowers remind me there is a season for it all - stillness, movement, the highs, lows and everything in between. I remind myself that it's okay to leap when I feel the call. It's okay to sit and rest when I need it. It's okay to hold the duality of loving life and wanting more.

Spring is a time I find it particularly easy to experience glimmers of joy. The flowers delight me in all their various expressions, just like people. I love getting to know the flowers in my neighborhood. Here are a few I enjoyed capturing, some with loved ones, some when solo.

Some July play day highlights ☀️🌊

This summer I’ve been rewriting my relationship with water. For a long time, I didn’t get the allure. I’ve always preferred to spend time in the forest or mountains, but something shifted this summer. I think it has to do with being in good company and having more time to slow down and really enjoy long bouts of time at Seattles beautiful beaches and parks.

✨Glimmers✨from February

I’m touched I got to do an impromptu road trip with my aunt to help her bring her new sprinter van back. We haven’t spent that much time together in years. This month was also filled with love in various forms. I got to try my hand at making some food art which included heart shaped tortillas and rose shaped tortellini. Walks and experiencing beauty with people I love also nourished me deeply.

February was a month of deepening connection both with myself and others. I’m feeling so grateful for my community.

The last 6 months have been a lot. The deeper I begin to look within myself, the more I find everyone I’ve ever met and the ideas I’ve consumed and let live in my space. I find myself exploring the question around what truly nourishes me and what do I really want to get out of this experience of life. The process of letting go and transforming what no longer serves me has me in a bit of a cocoon phase.

Where does my life force come from? Is it from the ways I care and nourish my body? Is it something deeper? Both? I’m noticing the invitation to get to choose the experience I have.

I don’t have firm answers to these, more the soft edges of clarity that reveal themselves as I show up to live each day and continue to lean into my internal experience rather than away.

I’m grateful for Spring beginning to poke her head up and help guide me with new beginnings and gentleness.

As the leaves change color and the air starts to slow, I find myself exploring ways to add levity and play.

When I look out into the world, I see so many things that break my heart. I also see things within me needing tending and requiring more attention than they have before. Gently tending to what I can is helps me be more in the world when a part of me wants to cocoon.

As an act of curious exploration and perhaps a dash of rebellion, I’ve been exploring what allows me to connect with love and gentleness in my heart even when there are storms around me that would have an older version of me want to armor up.

These are a few moments that brought me glimmers of joy, whimsy and deeper connection with myself and those around me in celebrating the spooky season.

I’m so grateful to the people in my life, ancestors in my blood line, and those yet to come as my companions in this life.

As the air gets colder, I am warmed by the love I feel around and within me.

Weddings remind me of how unique each couples love story is and yet how they all move me closer to more love within myself and with others.

Last month, I got to go celebrate the lovely union of some new friends and I’m still feeling fuzzy over it. Traveling to France for it added a lovely zest of romance.

Thank you to all those who share their love with me and allow me to share mine with you 💖

This photo is my reminder to do the damn thing.

The rain was coming and I ended up missing the window to see the Carvoeiro caves without getting caught in a rainstorm.

I went anyways. Even though it meant I would be stuck in buckets of rain and I’d have no place other than my van to dry off.

Yes, the rain fell, but it also stopped and the sun came out for most of the time I was at the caves. I had plenty of time to dance, pray and watch the sunset before the rain came back.

It’s so easy for me to take an inconvenience as a reason to wait or put off what I want. Not only was the rain so invigorating, it also created a memory that will stay with me forever.

I’ll post the cave photos in my next post.
